A Successful Weekend at TOAE!

The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition was a huge success! Despite the unbearable heat-wave, and the periodic monsoon, thousands of art-lovers came out to the show. I parted with 4 prints, 4 paintings and 6 drawings. I made lots of new friends, ate a lot of fish tacos, and drank a little too much coffee.

This was my first outdoor exhibition. It was challenging, but certainly worthwhile. We had to pack up the artwork every night and re-install it the next morning (Starbucks helped us through those early morning hours). We also had to deal with leaky, overheated tents. I was so impressed by the amount of people that came out in the pouring rain to experience the show. During the heat wave, our friends brought cold drinks and frozen treats, and I am continuously overwhelmed by the support and kindness they have shown me.

TOAE is over, but I am still taking orders for prints & commissions. Any unsold pieces are available through my studio, and through Art Interiors in Forest Hill Village, Toronto. This coming month, I'll mostly be working on a large-scale mural for Google, and in the fall, I'll be participating in The Delicious Food Show, sponsored by The Food Network. I'll also be exhibiting my work at the One of a Kind Christmas Show. Stay tuned for more details!

Thanks again for your amazing support, and be sure to follow me on Facebook, where I post frequent updates about projects and exhibitions:
